The XMS single-axis inverters of the ctrlX DRIVE range are powered by direct voltage and use it to generate a controlled AC output voltage of variable amplitude and frequency for the operation of a motor.

The inverters are supplied from the DC bus of the XVE or XVR supply units and/or the XCS or XCD converters. Via the standard runtime, which ebles the realization of most drive task, additiol optiol function packages for demanding applications are available. Based on various ordering options, it is possible to expand the hardware with ctrlX SAFETY for safety-related applications up to SIL3.
